Kidderminster-based machine protection and bellows specialist Beakbane has taken on an eighth manufacturing unit to cope with an expanding order book.

Two new jobs will be created once the new factory is in full production.

The additional manufacturing space will be used for the assembly of large painted bespoke metal fabrications. Beakbane will upgrade the facility by improving the lighting, heating and electrical system as well as installing a new crane and compressor.

The new leased facility increases Beakbane’s manufacturing space by 332 sq m to a total of over 6,100 sq m and is located on the Oldington Trading Estate in Kidderminster, 150 metres away from the main factory on the Stourport Road.
